Rules of the Competition
The theme of this competition is “water”.
Pictures to be taken with a cell phone only.
Post- processing is allowed, but only in the cell phone
Pictures to be sent via WhatsApp direct to the group, I will pick them up from there.
Closing time tomorrow, Wednesday, 18h00.
Judging has been done by Milton Evangelou, he is one of my photographic friends from the
Vereeniging Photographic Society and is also family.
And here a few of my thoughts about the theme. Water, that should be as a liquid and can be
contaminated with something that gives it colour, or could be fizzy water with CO2. Could be
moving or static.

| judges comments: This image is simple and yet very strong in composition. The yellow leaf is nice and sharp and placed perfectly in the frame. The diagonal line leads you to the leaf and the background is non distracting. |

| judges comments: This image has a lot of impact because of its sharpness and colour. I like the fact that the photographer tried to move in close and produce an abstract image. |

| judges comments: I like the fact that the photographer captured a moment in time that was not staged. The geese enjoying the rain and have space to walk into with a non distracting background. |

| judges comments: Image number 05 with the water droplet in the center and the ripples was also good but technically it lacked sharpness and contrast. It was well timed especially using a cell phone. |
